Presentation Slides:

My main contribution to the area of Flexible Workforce and Resource Management is introducing the Cellular Bucket Brigades —  a way to coordinate workers in a production line where work content is distributed on both sides of an aisle. This idea can be applied to (i) warehouse order-picking and (ii) dynamic U-line balancing. See here for a summary.

See here for a review of bucket brigade assembly lines.
