About Us

The SMU Machine Learning Group led by Prof Steven HOI is now hiring researchers, engineers, and exchange students for exciting research and developments on machine learning, deep learning, online learning, and beyond. Our mission is to advance AI by exploring novel large-scale machine learning (especially focused on deep learning and online learning), and building open-source software of industrial quality. The Machine Learning group is also involving in the Living Analytics Research Centre (LARC) --- a joint research centre between Singapore Management University (SMU) and Carnegie Mellon University (CMU). We have been building the cutting-edge GPU supercomputer infrastructure (e.g., NVIDIA DGX-1 supercomputers), collaborated with industry (e.g. NVIDIA, Microsoft, Alibaba, etc). By providing great training, comprehensive software tools, nice office and the best hardware infrastructure, we aim to help you make rapid advance in machine learning, deep learning, and AI research.
